At the end of 2025, I was invited to participate in Valuable Scraps 3 along with 9 other artists from around the globe. In just one month, we had the privilege of bringing a scrap-iron sculpture to life in Ankara, Turkey—a sculpture forged from fire, grit, and the spirit of the workshop that made it possible. What an honor it’s been to work alongside the incredible young artists who poured their passion, curiosity, and talent into their own creations all now complete. This experience has reminded me how powerful collaboration can be, and I’ll carry the inspiration from this workshop with me for years to come.
